The Brett Martin Roof Lantern rooflights are designed with safety in mind, featuring laminated inner panes that align with The Rooflight Association (formerly NARM) recommendations. However, it is important to note that the rooflight should be considered fragile. It is the customer’s responsibility to conduct a thorough risk assessment to identify and implement the necessary measures to prevent the significant risk of falling through the rooflight, in accordance with CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations.

All glass panels used in the construction of Brett Martin Roof Lanterns are fully compliant with the following standards:

• BS EN12150 (Safety glass in buildings)
• BS 14449 (Laminated glass and safety glass)
• BS 1279 (Insulating glass units)

Brett Martin Roof Lantern units are designed to remain durable and fully functional for up to 20 years under standard conditions. These units are covered by a 10-year warranty, ensuring they will not suffer from perforation, significant structural degradation, or distortion that compromises weather-tightness. Additionally, the warranty includes a 5-year guarantee on the insulated glass used in the rooflight's construction.

If you find any cracks in the glass upon delivery, please contact us right away. To be eligible for a return or replacement, it is important that any damage is reported within 12 hours of delivery. Promptly informing us of any issues ensures we can resolve them quickly and efficiently.
